Outpatient Behavioral Therapy - LCSW
Job Summary
Regulate Yours is seeking Licensed Certified Social Workers (LCSW) to provide outpatient psychotherapy services to clients in MA. Duties include, but are not limited to conducting psychological assessments, determining diagnosis, planning and implementing effective treatment, keeping detailed session notes and educating clients as needed. Psychotherapy sessions are available in-person and virtually, depending on client needs.
The Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) will receive supervision from our Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) on a weekly basis (1-hour supervision per 30 hour work week)

Education
Bachelor's Degree
Master's Degree
Post-Master's Certificate - Current and Active LCSW in Massachusetts
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and for career counseling and guidance.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, human migrations, ethnicity, cultures and their history and origins.
Advanced interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with patients and families
Ability to work effectively, comfortably, and sensitively with ethnically, culturally, and racially diverse individuals and with people from historically underrepresented communities
Analytical skills required assessing patient needs, to develop associated treatment modalities and to provide effective counseling
Basic computer literacy (training on HIPPA compliant client management software will be provided)
Ability to work independently
Organizational abilities with attention to detailed documentation
Primary Job Duties
Counsel clients in individual or group sessions to assist them in dealing with substance abuse, mental or physical illness, poverty, unemployment, or physical abuse.
Collaborate with counselors, physicians, or nurses to plan or coordinate treatment, drawing on social work experience and patient needs.
Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress with respect to treatment goals.
Refer patient, client, or family to community resources for housing or treatment to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness, following through to ensure service efficacy.
Counsel or aid family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with, or supporting the client or patient.
Modify treatment plans according to changes in client status.
Plan or conduct programs to prevent substance abuse, combat social problems, or improve health or counseling services in community.
Interview clients, review records, conduct assessments, or confer with other professionals to evaluate the mental or physical condition of clients or patients.
